In Focus: Wendy Tan, WINGS Staff

Wendy Tan, 58 years old, has been working as a Programme Assistant in WINGS for 1.5 years.  She shared, "I enjoy meeting ladies from all walks of life.  We share common interests and some of the members have also become my friends.  I have lunch with them occasionally."

To keep active, Wendy jogs thrice a week at Bishan park and attends yoga classes at the Bishan Community Club.  She also meets up with her ex-colleagues for social gatherings.

Wendy spends time with her two elderly aunts in between visiting her mum to bring joy and cheer to the elderly.  "We should count our blessings each day.  Without good health, money is nothing."

Thank you, Wendy, for sharing these thoughtful nuggets.

  • Limiting fat-intake
  • Taking less cholesterol
  • Monitoring salt intake
