Led by Han Soon Lang & Amy Tan, and formerly known as SONGWINGS SIC, the Musicals SIC is dedicated to musical theatre singing. It provides a space for members to explore the art of storytelling through music, combining vocal expression with theatrical elements, with guidance from WINGS trainer and Musicals SIC advisor Dezz Moey. Open to all who appreciate musicals, acting, and performance, Musicals WINGS welcomes members regardless of experience, fostering a collaborative and enjoyable environment.

Led by 75 year old volunteer Lily Kow, Sudoku is WINGS’ longest running SIC. The group meets at WINGS every Monday to challenge themselves with Sudoku puzzles. Apart from keeping their minds active, the ladies also bond over lunch after the sessions.

Sugar Club is a Walking Special Interest Circle. The ladies meet up for weekly walks around Singapore. On top of improving their physical fitness, they enjoy bonding with one another during the walks. On 8 Mar 2022, the Sugar Club ladies organised a ground-up event, Women to Women: Our Golden Years, to inspire WINGS women to live an active retirement lifestyle. Led by WINGS volunteers Betty Teo and Poon Moi Tian, the group looks forward to meeting their walking targets for the year.

JOYFUL SINGERS, a Special Interest Circle at WINGS, shares the joy of singing through multilingual songs and singalongs. They perform regularly at the Lion’s Home For The Elders in Bishan and have participated in external events like the Healthy Women Healthier Families Carnival 2022 and the National Celebration of Seniors 2023. Additionally, they organize sing-along events for WINGS women to celebrate occasions such as International Women’s Day, National Day, and Christmas, fostering community spirit and connection through music.

Plarning is for you if you want to exercise the dexterity of your fingers and make something useful for yourself and others. Plarning uses the crocheting technique to weave plarn (yarn made of recycled plastic bags) into everyday items like sleeping mats and bags.

What is Forest Bathing? Originating from Japan, this Mindfulness activity is gaining popularity in Singapore and WINGS’ Forest Bathing Special Interest Circle is bringing it to you right here in the lush grounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This activity teaches you to open your senses to nature, and re-connect with your inner self. After a refreshing 1.5 hour session, you can experience reduced stress, improved sleep and mood improvement. Sign up for a free session at the link below.

Digital Special Interest Circle is a dynamic group of women passionate about all things digital. From exploring the latest apps to mastering ChatGPT, they create engaging programs to connect the WINGS community with the digital world. Originating from WINGS’ Digital Ties That Bind project, members dedicate themselves to continuing digital initiatives beyond its conclusion. The group’s outreach extends to producing legacy videos for hospices and nursing homes in Singapore. Join Digital SIC in embracing technology, empowering others, and making a difference in the digital landscape.

As the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” Here, find friends who can go slow and far with you. Our brand-NEW Slow Run SIC is looking for members. Running at a slow pace enables your body to build muscular strength and endurance, without putting too much strain on your joints. Plus, hit the optimal exercise recommended by making this your weekly highlight! So sign up – adopt a healthier lifestyle and make new friends at the same time! Registration is free and open to Clients only.

Plant Pals is a community of nature enthusiasts passionate about plants and sustainability. The group organize curated outings to places like Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Biodiversity Festival, and Republic Polytechnic’s agriculture tour. Some activities include gifting plants, serving herbal drinks, and fundraising for WINGS through plant-related initiatives. Join them in growing a greener future together!
