Code of Conduct

The Society for WINGS fosters an inclusive and respectful community. While the Society endeavours to support you and provide the best possible service, disrespectful, hateful, or discriminatory behaviour towards staff or participants will not be tolerated. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may lead to warnings, removal from class without refunds, or cancellation of membership. To ensure fairness, we do not allow participants to reserve spots so as to allow everyone an equal opportunity to participate.

Refund Policy

1. Refunds for WINGS classes/workshops are available if requested at least 14 days before the start date. Requests must be submitted via email to info@wings.sg or by completing a refund form at the WINGS office.

2. All approved refunds may take up to 60 days to process.

3. Third-party expenses like payment gateway, bank and credit card surcharges are non-refundable.

Being an Associate or Client of WINGS

– Becoming an Associate of WINGS is free and open to the general public.
As an Associate, you can participate in our NSA programmes and selected classes or events. However, some programmes are exclusively reserved for only Clients of WINGS.

– To become a Client of WINGS, a one-time, lifetime fee of $30 is required.
This membership is available only to women aged 40 and above. As a Client, you gain access to all programmes and enjoy special discounts on WINGS-exclusive activities.
Please note that the client fee is non-refundable once paid.

Pre-Registration

Pre-registration is required for all fitness classes, workshops, and free events. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment.

Payment by SkillsFuture: Participants using SkillsFuture credits must submit their application on the SkillsFuture website at least one week before the course start date. If the application is not approved by the course start date, participants may be required to pay the course fees in using their NETS/credit card/Debit card.

Fitness Classes: Registration for one term does not guarantee a spot for the next. Please re-register and make payment to continue. No reservations are allowed to ensure fair access for all.

Late-Cancellation/No-show policy

– Should you wish to cancel a registration, your cancellation must be made via email at least 14 days before the class/workshop start date. No refunds will be given after this period.

– You are responsible for cancelling your registration on time. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the deadline or for no-shows to confirmed classes or workshops.

Class Cancellations by WINGS

– WINGS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low registration, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

– Should WINGS cancel a class that you have made a payment for, a refund will be arranged, or an alternative session will be offered.

To avoid disappointment, please register and complete payment timely.

Free Workshops

WINGS occasionally offers free workshops. Please be considerate when signing up, as frequent no-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect your future participation. If you know that you are unable to participate, please inform us at least 14 days in advance as this ensures other women on the waitlist have the opportunity to participate.

Attendance Taking

– Attendance taking is required for all workshops and this needs to be done at the front desk upon arrival.

SkillsFuture participants must also record their attendance using the SingPass app and maintain at least 75% attendance to avoid issues with their credits. Failure to comply may result in the cancellation of SkillsFuture funding, requiring full payment using your NETS/credit card/Debit card.

Waitlist

– To join a waitlist for a course, email us at info@wings.sg or call 62501012. Do note that joining the waitlist does not guarantee a seat, as slots are still allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

– When a seat becomes available, we will contact the first person on the list. If they do not register within the given timeframe, the slot will be offered to the next person, and so on.

– The waitlist applies only to the specific course run and date. It does not secure a spot in future course runs, nor will we be obliged to notify you about upcoming sessions. All course information will be available on our website to ensure fairness for all participants.

WINGS reserves the right to update policies. Changes will be announced on our website and at the WINGS Centre.
